The South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Conference and Festival announced the selection of panels and panelists for this year's event, starting March 10 in Austin, Texas. The panels will take place March 11-14 at the Austin Convention Center.

Slated to join various discussions are Oscar-winning (and current Oscar nominee) actress Charlize Theron,as well as actor/comedian David Cross.

Charlize Theron will join the panel "The Documentary Beat" on March 14, which will focus on several music documentaries and their makers at the festival. Theron produced the SXSW world premiere, 'East of Havana,' and will be joined on the panel with the film's co-producer Juan Carlos Saizarbitoria as well as filmmakers Paul Rachman ('American Hardcore'), Zach Niles & Banker White ('The Refugee All Stars'), and Margaret Brown ('Be Here To Love Me').

David Cross will join other cast members from the documentary 'Fired!,' for a book-signing and interview. Also on tap to be in attendance from the film are actress Annabelle Gurwitch and actor/comedians Andy Dick & Bob Odenkirk.

"The panels at SXSW can be as exciting as the films screening at the festival," says Conference & Festival Producer Matt Dentler. "It's great when we can have attending filmmakers and industry open up in a forum that is all about helping other filmmakers and relating to one another."

Other panels already announced include "A Conversation with Henry Rollins," in which the musician/author/actor will discuss the state of media with Esquire music editor Andy Langer. Plus, attendees will get to watch "A Conversation with Peter Bart," where the Variety editor will sit down for a one-on-one discussion about his decades-long career in the front row of Hollywood.
